Information regarding processing of your personal data.

General Privacy Statement

Molecular Partners AG and its affiliates (“MPAG”) are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy defines the types of personal data MPAG may collect; the means by which MPAG may collect, use, or share your personal data; steps MPAG takes to protect your personal data; and choices you are provided regarding the use of your personal data.

Purposes and legal basis for processing

By applying to a vacancy at MPAG you give us consent to process your personal data and to use it for the purposes of a recruiting process and all hiring procedures. In addition, your personal data will be used to contact you and process your application. Our Talent Acquisition or Recruitment Agents may contact you about other jobs during the time your data is stored at MPAG.

Your personal data is processed on the basis of your prior consent to this processing, including when the personal data was collected on the basis of the legitimate interests of in processing your application.

Right to withdraw consent

Your consent is voluntary and may be withdrawn at any time by sending a note to the above contact details. Any withdrawal of your consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing of your personal data.

Categories of personal data processed

Your name, your address, your contact details, age, work experiences, skills and other information you share with us in the application process.

Recipients of personal data

Recipients of your data are Recruitment Agents, Talent Acquisition and other HR Personnel at MPAG. Personal data may be shared also with other MPAG or its affiliates´ employees, which are included in the recruitment process, such as the hiring manager.

The data processor for the web based Recruiting System is Cegid SA. MPAG has established with Cegid SA the contracts containing the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs). In addition, MPAG is also using Cegid SA as a data processor for purposes of career site hosting. Cegid SA is managing the career site content and the candidate management and engagement system.  The contract between MPAG and Cegid SAcontains the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).[AK1] 

Your personal data will not be subject to automatic data processing. As part of the processing described herein, all appropriate technical, organisational, and security measures against any unauthorised access or any alteration, disclosure, destruction, or loss of your personal data, hosted in the European Union data centres for the entire duration of processing, are taken. Unless otherwise provided by existing legislation, regulation or court ruling, access to your personal data will be restricted to those employees who are currently employed by and, if applicable, to their subcontractors who need to view and/or use the data for the purposes described above.

Information about your rights

In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016, applicable from 25 May, 2018 (the “GDPR”), please note that you may exercise the following rights towards MPAG, under conditions specified in the GDPR:

Right of access by the data subject (article 15 of the GDPR);Right to rectification (article 16 of the GDPR);Right to erasure (article 17 of the GDPR);Right to restriction of processing (article 18 of the GDPR);Right to data portability (article 20 of the GDPR);Right to object (article 21 of the GDPR).In accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection, please note that you have the right to request from MPAG access to your personal data, a copy of your personal data, to rectify your personal data or to have MPAG register a note dispute. Additionally, you have the right to erasure or anonymisation of your personal data if it is no longer needed for the purpose for which you provided it, and the right to restrict the processing of your personal data to specific purposes if erasure is not possible. If the processing of your personal data is based on your consent kindly note that you have the right to withdraw consent at any time. However, the withdrawal is only valid for the future and we reserve the right to continue to process personal data in the event of a withdrawal, based on a different basis.
