We are looking for a Research Associate Formulation and Analytics. In this role you will be responsible for the conduction of routine analytical testing and will support the development and optimization of analytical methods. Planning, running, analyzing and reporting of internal and external formulation, stability and analytical experiments will be an integral part of the work tasks. In addition, the person shall take over responsibility for the maintenance of analytical instruments in the CMC group.
This challenging and diverse position will include the following tasks and responsibilities:
- Participate in analytical method development.
- Plan and perform internal protein formulation development, stability tests, forced degradation and other molecule characterization studies.
- Support of other teams from CMC (DSP, Potency) by conducting routine analytical testing (HPLC, DLS, ELISA, etc.).
- Document results in reports and present them in internal or external meetings.
- Collaborate with internal teams from other departments.
- Taking over responsibility for the analytical instruments.
For this position, we are looking for a highly motivated individual bringing along:
- Degree or certificate (e.g. FH) in chemistry/biochemistry or a related discipline.
- Strong background (theoretical and practical) in protein analysis.
- 2+ years hands on experience in (U)HPLC, ideally gained in pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience in particle measurements (MFI, LO), DLS and cIEF.
- Experience in mass spectrometry or ELISA considered as a plus.
- Good knowledge of English (spoken and written).
- Working Experience with Chromatography software (ideally Agilent Open Lab).
- Highly motivsted Team player with good oral and written communication skills.
- Accurate working style with strong focus on details and accurate documentation.
- Proactive and high level of flexibility.
